  1. ´╗┐Execution Graph

This document describes the SoftFab way of modeling your build and test process.

  2. Framework and Task Definitions

This document describes what framework and task definitions are and how you can create them. It builds on the concepts explained in the Execution Graph document.

  3. Semi-automatic Testing

Ideally, all build and test tasks in your factory run fully automatic. However, there are situations in which it is too difficult or too costly to automate a certain task. In those situations, it is often still possible to automate most of the task, so you can save time compared to doing everything manually. This document describes two strategies for tasks that cannot be fully automated.

  4. Mid-level Data

All kind a metrics about a task execution can be gathered. Typically you are not interested in the top-level result (did the test succeed) or in the tiny details (which tests did exactly succeed) but you like an overview of meta data defined by you. SoftFab will store this data and offers you ways to view trends and to export this data.

  5. Roadmap

This document contains an overview of features that are considered for implementation in SoftFab in the future. The SoftFab development team can use this to base a planning on. The SoftFab customers can use this to see if their wishes are already being taken into account by the developers.
